If you have an hour or so to kill, go to Riverdale Farms or check out the farmers markets on the weekends.

Friends of ours lived on Withrow Avenue for years, and we visited them regularly until they moved to the West Coast. These days we visit the occasional restaurant along the Danforth, and yesterday we were in Withrow Park for an outdoor performance of "The Midsummer Night's Dream. The people of Riverdale are fortunate to have it in their neighbourhood.

Has pockets of beautiful houses, but there are many poor drab areas and it is overrated. To to Rosedale, Lawrence Park to see more beautiful homes. Kunal C Toronto, Canada contributions. Best View of the Toronto Skylie. This park has, hands down, the best view of the Toronto skyline. Whether it's night or day, summer or winter, you can sit for hours looking at the skyline from Broadview Avenue.

In the winter it's also a great place for some tobogganing.
