How long clones veg

DrFever New Member. DrFever said:. Buddy Ganga Active Member. I've waited for some to go an extra week here and there but the general rule in my grow room is 4 weeks. I'm all about checking strains too. I'm waiting on some Lemon G clones and hear 3 weeks in veg should be more then enough because of it's burst of growth while in flower.

I veg mine to a chosen size, not a period of time, i can certainly estimate 4 weeks but they go longer if too small and go shorter if grow too large too fast. I veg for about a week. Time is money. Bonzi Lighthouse Well-Known Member. Does the generation of the clone matter?

I found my clones of clones were showing pre flower as soon as I took them out of the cloner. Do not overwater a fresh transplant. Simply making sure the surrounding medium is moist will encourage the roots to explore. TIP: Make note of how heavy plants feel when watered. Then recheck their weight daily — if they still feel heavy then do NOT water them. When are plants ready for transplanting? Clones need to be fully hardened off. Must be plenty of air pruned roots on the outside of the propagation cube. Do not leave it too late otherwise roots will begin to circle the pot and become root-bound.

To inspect roots, gently lift the plant by tapping or squeezing the pot on all sides — particularly from beneath. If there are not many visible roots, or the medium is falling apart, then the plant is not ready for transplanting.

Was planning on doing a sog. Is this possible.

Because have been told takes a while to reveg. I jus wana veg for two weeks then flip it will this stil work. Brettdawg said:. Click to expand I find the cuts that are taken earlier in flower root and grow just as fast as if you took them in veg. The cuts that are taken well into flower where there is substantial bud formation, have to go through the reveg process and take an extra 2 weeks just to get back into veg growth.

So if you took yours at only 10 days into flower then they should grow just like you took them in veg. Seraphine said:. On me fone excuse spelling. Yeah I've told them loads. So I thought and hoping with weeks veg max sog should be ok to do. Yeh feels out space quok. Did it alset run but them was clones that was taken off a plant in veg. The leaf tips do NOT need to be cut off. In fact it actually causes more harm then good because of the stress to the clone.
