Why hate aerith

Okay so far this question has been wondering in my mind lately and I want to what is your reason to hate her that much because a lot of my friends say they hate her but they don't give me a reason.

I disliked her mainly for two reasons, the constant praise she receives from others, and I also found her to be relatively annoying at least to me. I didn't enjoy her character as a whole, she often chimed in at times when I did not care to hear her opinion. Her character never really developed much in my view either, sure I learned more about her past and her part in the story from other characters, but she didn't seem to go through any development as a character herself, I didn't connect with her because she didn't attract my attention.

I enjoyed seeing Cloud go from being an uncaring, apathetic mercenary only concerned with getting the job done, to a taking charge kind of guy who realizes that he has to step up in order to protect the people he cares about aka Tifa and preserve the world for the future of those who are here as well as the ones who gave up their lives for it aka Aerith. I liked Cloud's style and the like.

I liked seeing Tifa showing obvious concern and kindness for Cloud and dealing with him being a cold and distant person as well as trying to make sense of her feelings and the whole deal with her memories not being exactly what she thought they were, helping Cloud through all that and the way she slapped sense into Cloud after Aerith had died so he would stop moping around AC shows it best.

With those characters I felt as if I was learning more about their true personalities and characteristics, I felt as though I was connecting with them, understanding them, just being drawn into them. I mean, if she were to face off against any of the other playable character and they were both allowed their limit breaks, then she would win.

Invincibility is downright rediculous. Just think about it, if you could be invincible against Sephiroth, Jenova, or any of the weapons, even if just for a couple minutes than those battles would be incredibly easier. I have a file on my mem card where I tried to get as much stuff in the game as I possibly could before Aeris died. In that file Aeris is level 72 and Cloud is level At least 3 characters have their Level 4 Limit Breaks.

I know it's weird, but Aeris deals as much combat damage as Cloud does in this file. It happens all too often. Well on the side panel it says I'm I don't really like Tifa because I have a tendency to hate female characters that are tame, kinda quiet..

I like bright and positive characters more.. And Aeris wasn't really useless. I always used her for boss fights because she had the highest magic power.. Final Ultima Branding Breach. George said:. I think it cures all status effects aswell. She was really useful when I played, and because I never stepped foot in gamefaq-type message boards, I never saw her death coming. And I found her healing abilities usefull to no end and saving my noob butt at every Boss fight! Sad she had to die.. Wasted time leveling her up- so I replaced her with cid.. Aeris heals good, but the monster wouldn't last long enough to damage me anyway They're the cutest couple ever!

But I hate Aerith! Because I don't like Aerith? Her sig says this. I would have trained hard to make sure I didn't suck, I wouldn't bother flirting with Cloud, and I would have sidestepped when Sephiroth tried to stab me.

She is set to be in the back row in battle. If you move her to the front she'll do much more damage, and sometimes, if you get her weapons, she'll be one of the more powerful physical attackers in the game. She'll definenlty do more physical damage than Yuffie and Tifa will at that point.

When you can get her weapon, the umbrella, and if you get it right then, she'll have the most powerful weapon in the invetory. She is also the best magic user of all the characters, and magic does more damage than physical attacks. Another point, her final limit break Great Gospel pwns all!
