All music will be lost when a device is serviced. It can be synced back to your iPod via iTunes or Apple Music. Before we can service iPod touch, Apple require us to turn off the security feature known as 'Find my iPod'. This can be turned off via the iPod's iCloud settings.
Before we book the device in for service our staff will ask you remove 'Find my iPod' with your Apple ID password. Unfortunately software issues are not covered by Apple's warranty. We will endeavour to repair your issues as quickly as possible and if the situation calls for it, we can restore your device to factory settings.
Restoring your device will result in data loss however we will walk you through backup and recovery options if a restore is required. Bring your device in to iStore so we can upgrade it to the latest version of its respective Operating System. Doing this allows you to access the most recent software features released by Apple but most importantly ensures your Apps and security are all up to date.
